All I know is anyone that had little concern over the border crisis in Texas was called a racist, and everyone said it was fake news that there is a crisis. But everything shes saying today regarding the border sounds good.

It depends on what someone thinks the "border crisis" is tbh.

Ask any MAGA and they'll tell you the issue is "millions" of brown people are funneling into the country and being paid by Democrats to vote and steal elections. Said brown people are also rapists, violent criminals, drug dealers, gang members, kidnappers, cartel members, and likely allies with the Jewish/Soros funded Deep State™️ that's trying to keep Trump out of office because something something something white replacement theory.

Ask any sane person what the border problem is and they'll say there's not enough staff and resources to properly secure the border and stop one of the major sources of drugs coming into the US. The immigrant problem is and has always been how to humanely process the people coming into this country. The bipartisan bill congress and Kamala drafted as well as the immigration bill the Biden administration sent to congress on day one would have done a lot to help. Hiring and training more border patrol, updating technology needed to screen for drugs and trafficked people, enlisting more immigration judges to help people either with their asylum cases or help them to become legal residents of the country, etc.

There's also hundreds of thousands of children that are currently still separated from their parents after the Trump administration's inhumane and cruel child separation policy. That's an enormous immigration related problem.

So it's not as cut and dry as "only racists care about the border" but only a racist is complaining about immigrants when it's been proven that immigrants commit crime at lower rates than domestic citizens, immigrants take jobs that otherwise sit unfilled, and in cases like Springfield, Ohio, immigrants can revive entire cities.

Real patriots are complaining that our border security doesn't hinge on us sending the police and military into towns to raid American homes then the government putting 15 million+ immigrants, legal or otherwise, in concentration camps with the goal of deporting the ones that live.

Out of all Trump's bastardized batsh*t crazy "policies", his immigration plans piss me off the most. Literally grinding my teeth rn  f*ck that piece of sh*t and anybody that even entertains the thought of supporting him.

Mass illegal immigration is bad even if they commit less crimes and dont take citizens jobs. Look what happened to Europe and Lebanon for example. I understand that alot of anti immigration people are racist, but for the ones complaining about it rationally shouldnt be called racists.

The US isn't Europe or Lebanon

Our biggest problem isn't with immigrants, it's the fact our system isn't structurally able to process them.

The DHS estimates there's roughly 8 million undocumented people in the US. The majority of undocumented immigrants in this country came through legal means and have since either had their visas expire due to lagging in the system or they've overstayed their status and our system isn't able to flag them.

It's a structural problem, not an immigrant problem.

That's not a "southern border" problem either which is why I'm so confused when people see that issue and say "build the wall!" or something else just as stupid like "fill the river with barbed wire" or "dig a moat and put alligators in it" (and yes that one is one of Trump's proposals ).

The system needs more resources, that's all. That would literally fix every problem. But if the GOP controlled house actually got a bill off the ground to solve that problem, Trump's prospects would have been even worse than they already are.
