In the call, the hotel's employee explicitely stated that Liam was "beyond intoxicated" and they were scared for his safety. It seems like it was a manic episode. This is why I'm glad Chappell Roan actually took some time off. I will always rather a celebrity leaving fans upset, than reaching a point of no return. Just last week a video titled "How the internet fell out of love with Liam Payne", showed up on my YouTube feed. Being in the public eye can be brutal.
