Maybe she added a word but helping on melodies and sonically is also considered writing credits? Cause that demo is nice but the final song is simply a masterpiece, so if she helped on getting that... 

And if not, I always thought writing your own songs is overrated. They are performers, singers... They don't need to be the best in every single step of the music creation
