I think had it been released after 2020 it would not have been the smash it is. Too robotic for today’s hits. Black Eyed Peas, Gaga and Britney dominated electro pop at that time. Like it’s such a perfect pop song. from the production to the harmonies to the clever lyrics and its video. To me Poker Face was always the prime example of what people think Gaga is.
