Peddling overpriced candles. Weeks after pushing alcohol? Where is her advocacy? I get it, she doesn’t need to use her platform for politics. But where is the passion we’ve seen in her music when she makes societal or political statements, but when it matters the most, as in the real world, and not through charts and money — silence. Rich people are rich people. They just pick when they want to mingle with us. Beyoncé is literally the soundtrack to Kamala’s whole campaign and has used Cowboy Carter and the Olympics to reclaim American patriotism for non-MAGA. She can release a ****ing candle if she wants to.

Why is it so important for some of you to have a celebrity endorse a candidate? It should be the opposite. Most celebrities don’t face the struggles or adversities of the average person. Their endorsement should be disregarded, or not expected. I think it’s great for a celebrity to use their right to vote, but we citizens aren’t lemmings. We aren’t so naive and brainless that we only feel validation when a celebrity endorses a candidate. This is getting out of hand with people demanding endorsements.

You definitely missed my point and I agree with you lol. I couldn’t care less about her endorsement or any other celebrity endorsement. I’m essentially agreeing with you and saying how out of touch these celebrities have become. These people aren’t living the lives we live, so expecting anything other than being sold a candle when the world around us is on fire is exactly what we should expect and the jokes on us.
