A Very Gaga Holida

I haven’t seen the film cause I’m more than broke, but I was at a party yesterday and everyone said the movie was awful and they all blamed Gaga, saying she was terrible in cinema :franminervini: They played DWAS twice though, and it’s the only song they played twice

My bet is around $200M-210M.

It looks like it’s following in the same theatrical run as The Marvels (which did 78% drop second weekend) and had a global finish at $206M. I don’t think Joker will do more than Marvels, unless international sales keep going up. :saladga:

But we’ve seen a lot of these comics universe films come and go but yeah the worst and floppiest out of all of them had to be the one Lady Gaga is in it :messga:

on the plus side, this might keep her out of superhero movies which have very much overstayed their welcome :cheeky:

mother, what must i do?

I told y’all. Gaga’s getting hate everywhere. I think her cinema career is over

It’s just the comic fanboys/superhero fanboys complaining because they probably think it’s Gaga’s fault that it was a musical. Her acting career is certainly not over. They took a risk and it didn’t pay off. Most reviewers praise Gaga’s performance within this bad movie. That’s not Gaga’s fault that it’s bad. She’ll have more roles coming her way. Hopefully this is just a lesson for her and everyone involved.

I'm Chloe. Except the C and the L are silent.

Exactly, it's just another experience for her in the end, and we also got one of her best performances with Happy Mistake so I'm okay with that. Hopefully her next movie is something different and less music oriented.
