But truly... who cares. I don't mind having many great artists to listen to. Each of them do their own thing. It's not like there's a competition. Unless they have some unhealthy obsession with charts.

What’s funny is none of them are new artists technically, they each have a decade experience at least. Music industry just decided that pop is cool again and this was the young/talented lineup. We last had this craze for multiple female pop stars in 2010 with Gaga, Katy, Rihanna, Kesha. Maybe it took a while for the new girls to craft their breakthrough record, something the last lineup didn’t really have a problem with? Or maybe it’s just cause people are paying attention to Pop again. Happy nonetheless that Pop as a genre is getting the love.

Pop music's peaks always coincide with **** economies when people need escapism. 

Disco & early 80s pop. 2008-2012 pop dominance. And now the resurrgence of pop.

Also she's #3 on spotify monthly listeners. Sabrina is the only one closer to her at #8. BOAF is #2 on BB currently.
