It might be on purpose because everything else is really good. Better than expected. Aubrey Plaza is great but there's something weird about her character... If you saw the leaks, it makes sense That being said, they have to add a Witches' Road attraction to the parks, that set is really beautiful. Yes, he’s gay in the comics but nothing suggest he’s a flamboyant, pearl clutching queen. Just not how I’ve always imagined him. Kinda like when they had the Hellfire Gala, all the gay male characters were reimagined in dresses. I guess it makes them immediately identifiable as queer, but personally, I’d never wear a dress. It also has the same mystery as Wandavision (which I LOVED). But, the tone and writing is so off. I get that they want the funny group banter, and in parts, it works. But holy, it sometimes feels like watching a English dub anime from the 90’s: they just can’t stop with the cheesy jokes and dialogue, even in the suspenseful parts.
