I can't believe that after so many years of looking forward to this film this is what was produced... maybe the film is better than the marketing but I am not hopeful

I feel like the people who are truly excited for this movie are the ones who are already very familiar with or have seen the musical. Will they be able to branch out and pull in audiences who don't know anything about Wicked? That remains to be seen.

I have seen the H&M collection in my local store, and it has been sitting there for the past couple of months. It might just be me, but I don't see the merch selling that well.

It’ll be interesting to see how this movie is received given the musical nature of the film, and recent experiences with musicals ahem. I expect a Wonka kind of reception, although they seem to be aiming high with this one. Let’s see.
