I don't even think the album is available at retailers yet as we speak.

This is a problem for me.  I plan to gift several copies to jazz musician friends, but Gaga's site insists on shipping each copy separately and charging shipping fees for each copy.  I declined, and will buy them when I can walk into a store and buy several copies.

The reason behind the album was not chart position or numbers. The whole joker era, however, has proven to be so messy.  If people hate the film, how do we expect for the GP to be interested in the album? Hey, let’s look at the positives, we have the #1 song in the world, AND we still haven’t even started with the LG7 rollout!
