Often, when creating fan-made setlists, I feel restricted by the need to include all the hits or making sure there’s a balance of songs from each album. For this, I want you to throw out those limitations and create a setlist you think would be truly exciting to experience. For my vision, I wanted to step outside the boundaries of a typical Gaga pop show. The concert would start traditionally, featuring a mix of iconic classics, then shift focus to ARTPOP as the wild, untamed element, highlighting an underrated part of her discography. After that, the show takes an unexpected turn, showcasing Gaga’s versatility as an artist and performer. We move into an intimate jazz and piano set, leading into more emotional and vulnerable music. Next, the energy picks back up with rock-influenced tracks, giving Gaga space to unleash some raw intensity. After the high, we transition into her most vulnerable pieces in a piano and vocal set, and then back into the world of pop and celebration. For the encore, I envision a cinematic experience that showcases the more theatrical side of her music, reminding everyone that Gaga is far from a one-trick pony.
