Joker Director Will No Longer Work With DC

Saying this before the movie came out suggests he knew it was going to be hated by lots of people. If it was a huge success, it wouldn't be wise to say things like this when you could make more money further down the line by continuing and going back on your word makes you look money hungry. By saying it so confidently, he just knew. It's a shame because I'd be all for a Harley spin off, Gaga's portrayal of her is genius. But I'd be wary about Todd being a part of it and he would have to be considering this portrayal came courtesy of his direction. To be a fly on the wall inside Gaga's mind right now...I'd have a feeling of "this can't be the end, there's so much more to give." I just hope and pray there's some sort of extended cut with more Gaga.

I find it funny that people are finding it hard to see why the film exists when the same can be said about stuff like the 10th fast and furious film, or the 10th saw film.. like most film franchises are milked to death for no reason but don't get this level of negative press?

because with Joker it's simply not the same level as Fast and Furious. It's become an unspoken truth that only a hand-selected people get the opportunity to interpret the Joker universe on a global scale, it's become a tradition with different styles, actors, director who basically step into the footsteps of the previous movie stars who made them. Saw, F&F cannot really be compared to this tbh

They NEED to hire a female director and screenwriter for Harley’s movie (if it happens)

this. it seems like the male ego got the better of them while creating this mess

Hope this won't affect Gaga's acting opportunities moving forward - I don't think it will,

She'll still be able to get good roles, but she won't be seen as a major box office draw for a while, until the next big success

Am I the only one who enjoyed it completely dismantling the first film and audience expectations?

I'm with you. We're on the right side of history here lol

The flops will come around after this annoying hate train gets boring for them.

This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss.
