They will shake when I will post on French art reviews website my review, they're not ready. :firega:

The movie was richer than it seems, too bad that they're dummies that make lazy analysis. :teehee:

I still didn't watched it but I got spoiled on so many details. Shakespearian references, critic about the power of public opinion and manipulation of miscellaneous facts, critic of the condition of mentally ill ppl in society (romantization of mental illness is huge problem in our society), critic about how some of our idols can turn out to be impostors (Hey hey hey Diddy affair maybe ?), etc... :classy:

I know that this movie may have problem bc of how the movie is adapted but from what I readed about it, I defo think that I could appreciate it on some interesting aspects.

Don't worry monsters FckILuvArt is on her way to kick some critics ass.

Dude the critics reviews on rotten tomatoes are insanely positive towards Gaga, saying that she was a ray of light and that she didn't get to shine. She still has an acting career with plenty of opportunity after this, no doubt.

well the director was getting the heat before the movie came out. Now that people has seen it everyone blames Gaga because its an actual musical as if she made the decisions

I haven't seen anyone blame Gaga for the movie's failure :bear:

First Haus Of Gucci now Joker 2...

Gaga got off to a good start with ASIB but now she seems to just keep getting herself into bad movies (even tho she does her part well)

I don’t understand the dislike with HOG. I thought the movie was great, I thought everyone played their roles pretty well except for Jared Leto or whatever that was weird. But I thought it was good.

Loading a film with references, metaphors, etc, does not make it necessarily a good or interesting film if the execution does not stitch these together nicely:stupidoreo: And those details are not even that impressive, we've seen all that before:fatcat:

I swear that if social media didn't exist, this movie would have probably been rated a bit higher. Unfortunately, since people love to jump on the hate bandwagon this movie got a score that it DEFINITELY didn't deserve. All over Twitter I am seeing hate tweets getting 50k likes while people praising the movie get absolutely ganged up on and told they have 0 taste.

The acting alone keeps it from being a D-list movie. Add in the cinematography and the music, which was (mostly) really well done, and you're looking at a high C—enough for the movie to be considered a moderate success. But no, someone early on hated the idea of it being a musical, and now everyone has jumped on the hate train, repeating the same critiques over and over again.

I am not saying this movie is the best movie of all time, but with the hate the movie was getting I was expecting a trainwreck. To my surprise I found the movie enjoyable and will probably see it again soon.

It's like an organized hate train istg :fatcat: sometimes I wish little monsters were more scary like swifties :laughga:

I saw it last night and it was awful. It was so weird and awkward. The courtroom drama was sort of interesting but it went nowhere. The relationship with Harley went nowhere. It felt like nothing mattered in the end, there was no message. I don't even hate musicals but the songs were done so poorly and not one was memorable. My friend beside me literally fell asleep by the end of it. :toofunny:

The first half was okay, but the second part had no direction, no cohesiveness, random music moments that added nothing to the story, and the last 30 minutes were the worst.

I'm so upset at WB studios and Todd Phillips, they did Gaga dirty!

The fact that people are appreciating Gaga at least. Someone told me today after watching it that Gaga saves the movie. :cheeky:
