personally I don't give 2 single shits about reviews... there have been movies that have gotten tons of Oscars and great reviews that I found really bad and then there have been those with really low ratings that I enjoyed.

That's one thing I've noticed with a lot of the negative reviews I've seen. You look at their set-up and it's like a ton of comic books and Funko Pops in the background and you understand why they're upset with it. If you're expecting a traditional Joker/Harley or Batman story, you'll be sorely disappointed. The first film was a "comic book film" in name only and this one follows suit.

I'm not trying to denigrate that group of people—I'm literally one of them, I have a bunch of comics and Funkos too lol—but I think some people are walking into the movie with certain expectations and are upset that their own expectations were not met.

Speak for yourself. Gaga did this film because SHE WANTED TO. She has nothing to prove, yet I fully believe she will be stellar.

Guys the critics are mixed, it doesn't mean that it is a bad promo for her next album.

She said it herself there's no bad promo, Gaga being controversial is what she came from. The GP on TikTok (especially the gen Z like me) adore her music, LG7 could make even more noise bc of her appearance in Joker 2. 

I mean yeah ppl hated the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games bc of the blasphemy things BUT they talked a lot of Gaga in a good or bad way (in a good way mostly) and it boosted her popularity. There was many articles, etc...

But I got to admit that I'm trying to avoid the negativity of critics, that pissed me sm, I've been spoiled on the end and so many other details... I'm going to watch it when I will have the time to.

Hoping that this will at least be a commercial success. The GOOD thing is that Gaga is being applauded for her acting while the movie is being shredded because of the plot.
