Expected 110k before its Spotify numbers debut, then I adjusted it to about 50k just because it did better day 1 than 143 in streams. I still think it can get around 30k + hopefully the Jimmy performance does something.

The "secret" nature of the release is likely a major factor here. Most people don't even know this exists. There's been only minimal promo and it's honestly confusing to people who aren't paying attention. It's Joker but also NOT Joker. It's not available for retail most places.

why the hell would you ever expect that much for a covers album of traditional pop songs (and JAZZ) that has no physical copies available outside of her store? And surprise announced at that???

I feel like a lot of you need to realise that this was a surprise drop of a passion project that has been given bare minimum promotion and isn't available for mass commercial sale.

Of course its numbers are low. It was never going to pull big numbers.

#7 for a pop album is horrible, while top 10 for a jazz cover album is brilliant
