Anthagio 113
Cackling, are we supposed to take this person seriously? "On Wednesday, she had trouble filling the Xcel (there were plenty of last-minute giveaways to bring the crowd to a near-capacity 14,000)." There are pictures to refute this and PropaGaga admin confirmed that there were no "last-minute giveaways". Complaining that she had on masks and left the stage to change? Her transitions are incredibly fast and you don't normally notice them. Mentioning her not being on the radio, the charts, or at the Grammys when she hasn't released any new music since late 2011 just screams that this person is reaching to find something negative to say. And of course the Madonna fans are attacking the comment section, acting like they attended the show so that their "opinion" is taken seriously. Hahahahaha. I think we are smart enough to see the BS ('we are gonna make the whole of Los Angeles explode!' (1-20-2013 BTWB) and the truth ('You can be whoever the hell you wanna be, because you are FREE TONIGHT L.A!!!!!') (1-20-2013 BTWB) and tell which one's which. I do agree with the gentleman that the concept was disjointed and confusing -- with the Monster Ball, we knew it was Dorothy lost in Central Park after midnight, coming to the rave of the century where they play Bad Romance (after fighting a giant deep sea anglerfish with a discostick) That we could follow. All of this wacky Mother Goat and alien fugitive and castle didn't fit cohesively. Castle makes me think wonderful lavish mediaval inspired costumes and an electro Rapunzel signing Speechless from the turrets and towers. I love the fact the castle opened up like a dollhouse and we could see so many clothes and stairways and bricks and mortar and doors and passageways, it was as though she was our living queen doll and we could watch her play amongst the backdrop of knights and horses. *insert splice here* *zzzzzerrrrpppp*** NOW SOMEHOW WE ARE IN OUTER SPACE WITH A FLOATING HEAD --- makes zero sense next to Castle, Rapunzel-Ga, and Riding Out On A Majestic Horse-Ga. See what I mean? she never explained the Born This Way Ball so we could actually get what the devil she's trying to say she's a time traveling fugitive that landed in Medieval Times to promote tolerance Fair enough about the story being confusing. I agree that while the castle is amazing and beautiful, it doesn't make any sense. Like, she escapes GOAT to invade the Earth, so why does she have her own castle on what one would assume is Earth? The intro with her arriving on horseback implies she is a Queen, someone of importance on this GOAT planet, so she would have her own castle. However, she leaves GOAT, yet her castle is still there. sdkfjhdfjksdh It doesn't make sense. Then again, who goes to a pop show for the story? I think story or not, the show's entertaining. misanthrope 15
Then again, who goes to a pop show for the story? I think story or not, the show's entertaining. Exactly. Although....its understandable why people specifically pay attention to any story Gaga is trying to tell with her show because she puts so much importance on theatrics. Anthagio 113
Exactly. Although....its understandable why people specifically pay attention to any story Gaga is trying to tell with her show because she puts so much importance on theatrics. Indeed, but I also don't get people who say the MB story was easy to follow. It also made no sense. "We're taking glitterway to the Monster Ball." It's like, b---h we're already at the Monster Ball. We only understood the story 'cause Gaga explained it, not 'cause it was easy to understand.

No I totally agree with that. When people act like TMB is so much better because of its aesthetic im like really? TMB didn't make any more sense than the BTWB did even including the fact that she explained it as it went along. I think the real reason some people prefer it to the BTWB is because it had interludes. Interludes allow for serious set changes. Which make people think more is happening. Sara 1,128
The writer works for a newspaper. Newspapers have become sensationalist attention *****s for commercialism, because it's the only way they can get sales anymore. If you aren't doing things that sell newspapers, then you are worthless to them, and they will drag you for it, because at least the dragging will get them attention. It honestly is true though, as intriguing as it is it doesn't exactly make sense.
