Chris Brown’s legal troubles and history of abuse is the subject of a new documentary from Investigation Discovery, the network behind the Nickelodeon child abuse exposé “Quiet on Set.”

Out Oct. 27, “Chris Brown: A History of Violence” will launch ID’s third annual “No Excuse for Abuse” campaign.

As revealed in the trailer, a new accuser, whose identity is hidden, comes forward with allegations against Brown. “I have not spoken about this matter publicly, but that’s the only way he can be stopped,” the accuser says in the trailer.

Good! People tend to forget the horrible things he’s done, glad the victim feels empowered to share their story

Didn't the director also give Dan a lengthy and biased point of view in the other documentary?

what does this have to do with Chris brown harassing and assaulting women among other things?

A lot of people don't know that Rihanna was NOT his only case. There is a big pattern here.

oh right because people tend to reduce his abusive history to his brutal assault of Rihanna but its that and much more. he is a walking red flag and gets a free pass because of his talent. im happy about this documentary but i know theres going to be a lot sympathizers and apologists

It’s sick to me that so many people have supported him for so many years, I never felt that he deserved a career, but hopefully this documentary will shine more of a light on the things he’s done

I’m actually really confused. Do people defend him? I thought it was common knowledge that he was abusive scum?

I don’t see a link. But I’m sure his own fans defend him, just like the other problematic musicians.

I just didn’t expect to see it on GGD. Although I shouldn’t be surprised.  The amount of people around here willing to sympathize with Katy Perry for working with Kesha’s rapist should have been a big clue to me.
