I don’t think anyone who goes to enjoy Gaga performing will be disappointed. the movie is very open to interpretation. there will be people who like it and people who hate it. Gaga is still an averagely good actress and with her limited schedule, it is difficult to film many takes for a movie, so the choices in the editing room are limited, they have to choose the best scenes out of a very limited pool, so I get why she was underused and many scenes were cut, scenes that at a certain seconds looks good for the spoiler montage but not good enough for a full 2-3 min scene. Like for example, watching the stairs behind the scenes videos that people posted, she was kinda so so. EGOT2027 10,800 Posted October 1 Share Posted October 1 last post for the night: in the months leading up to gucci, rumors were flying that the movie was mid. and that the studio knew it. they were hiding it from the press until the very last minute. but WB has been sitting on this movie for a year and all signs pointed to them being very confident in it. the rumors from hollywood people who had seen it were that it was good. people like the CEO of imax implied that he had seen it and thought it could be the biggest movie of the year.
