This is just my guess Given the second day drop on streams, 80K seems a bit high. Depending on sales, I think 50 - 70k is more realistic. Cerny 4,270
Pop super stars are such flops nowadays, imagine MJ, Whitney, Elvis, and Madonna doing these numbers back in the day. Only Taylor Swift, Adele, The Weeknd, Olivia Rodrigo, and Billie Eilish are doing numbers nowadays, while other huge names are struggling hard, Paty Kerry being one of many. 3

He sells better than Olivia and probably even Billie Eillish
Just A Holy Fool 2,402
This is a disaster considering what was spent marketing this era. She is a full on legacy act now.

Gerrard174 513
6 hours ago, Mister Gaga said: I mean, is not THAT bad. There's obviously some sort of fandom she still has; between rock in rio, her tour in australia and this numbers. She's defintely a C list pop figure now, though. She is definitely not C list. She is just now being viewed as legacy act with rich catalogue of hit That's why she landed the AFL's performance, Rock in Rio etc. She is also adding few more shows for her tour in Australia so the demand is there (just not for NEW music unfortunately)
TheARTPOPball 91
8 hours ago, GagaTheExplorer said: It is really bad, career ending bad This is not a cute side project, it was her last chance to remain relevant in the pop scene and she flopped very hard, critics destroyed her and sales sealed her fate I don’t think it’s her last chance. I think she just needs to take a hiatus and come back with a rebranding. Katy never really departed from the early gimmicks in the same right that Gaga, or even Nicki did. I think Gaga returning to this dark pop sound (if that is what lg7 will be) is going to do very well since she has abandoned that sound for nearly a decade.. everyone misses it and the demand is there. Nicki did the same with pink friday 2, except she missed the target a little as people were expecting Roman to appear on the record. However, the tour has been massively successful. Katy needs to spend some time dabbling outside of her cookie cutter pop sound and explore other influences, or possibly even return to the vibe of her debut record. And I'm Alwaysssss in favor of people writing their own music but sometimes it isn't bad to hire a few writers to help get her ideas out in a way that is not uninspired or cheesy? The sound of Katy's new album is not bad at all, but the lyricism is very poor. She is responsible for one of the most successful pop eras ever. I really think she CAN do it again.
