I've been mainly a chronic lurker on this site and in the fandom for what got to be over a decade now. And while I def feel that we as a fandom did cheer on her messiness a bit too much during the ARTPOP era. I feel by a large margin that most of the time we are cheering her on the most when she is coming off as healthy and happy.

This is definitely something that could be explored and how she seems to have settled into the fact that people want darkness from her even if that is not necessarily where she would prefer to spend her time / energy. But GGD is not capable of having a nuanced discussion about topics like this so it is pointless to bring it up.

It's an interesting question. My BTWB was one of the last before she broke her hip, and I did feel guilty about it for a while, especially when we realized how awful she'd been doing in the run-up to that injury. Like here I was having one of the best times of my life at her expense. 

But we're all humans just doing our best, operating with the knowledge we have in the moment, and it is what it is. I don't think she resents her fans, so there is nothing to feel guilty about.

(Expect for anyone who sh!t talks her body/face/healthy boundaries these days -- they should feel bad )
