The iconic image represents themes of melancholy and contemplation. Stańczyk is shown deep in thought, reflecting on the political turmoil and struggles of Poland during his time, symbolizing the conflict between personal feelings and national issues. The one by the JWT tape has the number “1” on it and the other has its film stripped from it. What if that is ARTPOP act one and act two?
