Lady Gaga announces Harlequin, out on September 27th

I love the concept. Others have already mentioned that the first song sounds like the introduction to a radio show with a "good morning". It reminds me of the Roger Waters album Radio KAOS. I would love for it to be something like that.

This is the truth that many here need to understand:

Gaga does NOT owe anyone anything. She became an artist because of her vision for her music, and WE signed up to support her because we believed/believe in her as an artist. If you expect a certain bespoke album that you get to dictate what should sound like, then I hate to break it to you, but you need to find a new fave. 

Artists grow and so does their creation process. To pigeonhole someone to a sound you crave because of your nostalgia does not make you a fan. It makes you an entitled self-proclaimed LM who has zero appreciation to the work and dedication Gaga puts into her work.

You either sign up for her evolution or stop calling yourself a fan. I'm sure she wouldn't be happy about the negativity that you keep drowning her with every time she makes an artistic choice that doesn't align with your vision. She's the artist, you're not.  

Thank you so much for saying all of this. I could not agree more. Gaga is a once in a lifetime artist and I am so grateful for her artistry. Despite her unimaginable fame, she remains so grounded and selfless and is always thinking of her fans. I’m honored to call myself a fan of hers and find it so disappointing when fans speak with a sense of entitlement. Stop the drama, play the music. And if you don’t want to, then move on to someone else. It’s not that difficult! Paws up forever
