codymonster 8,599 Posted September 24, 2024 Share Posted September 24, 2024 (edited) I'm so excited for this because: A) New music, but also B) The fact that she has talked numerous times about feeling more free and less restrained. I feel like a project like this is "confusing" to the public (is it a new album, how will it chart, etc). And I feel like that would really stop an artist from doing this, or they would feel obligated to JUST do this, and make a whole album cycle out of it. The fact that she was drawn to the character, music, and visuals, and decided to pursue this, while also pursuing the sound she wants for LG7 is so awesome to see. I have said many times that her career is aimed towards longevity. She honors her passions and pursues things that artistically inspire her.
