marrytheminogue 125 Posted September 24 Share Posted September 24 Eurgh this coming just after Kylie’s Tension II pre-order last week and tour tickets to get tomorrow 😭 But I couldn’t risk missing the exclusive vinyl with that artwork!! I honestly can’t believe how much we’re getting fed. Yes, we’d all love a full album of originals, but we have that coming next year. So for a surprise treat, I’m really excited to see how this sounds. This woman not only created a pop album, but she also made a companion album to a movie she feels so strongly about. I guarantee you she had us in mind when making this album, so the wait for LG7 is not as bad, and yet here some of y'all are, just complaining and never satisfied. This is the truth that many here need to understand: Gaga does NOT owe anyone anything. She became an artist because of her vision for her music, and WE signed up to support her because we believed/believe in her as an artist. If you expect a certain bespoke album that you get to dictate what should sound like, then I hate to break it to you, but you need to find a new fave. Artists grow and so does their creation process. To pigeonhole someone to a sound you crave because of your nostalgia does not make you a fan. It makes you an entitled self-proclaimed LM who has zero appreciation to the work and dedication Gaga puts into her work. You either sign up for her evolution or stop calling yourself a fan. I'm sure she wouldn't be happy about the negativity that you keep drowning her with every time she makes an artistic choice that doesn't align with your vision.
