So, this is actually going ahead? This is a massive risk. After seeing popstar shows not selling overly well for albums that sold the same or better this year, this was a big mistake. Obviously, the shows don't begin for 9 months, so she has a long time to sell tickets but people aren't going to be interested that far down the line so it hardly matters. She's clearly only adding those extra shows because they were already planned, regardless if the presale sold out or not. And adding additional shows after selling out a pre-sale means nothing anyway, when you sell out the entire arena then it looks good to add a second show. To see her add 3 new dates in Adelaide is really excessive. Kylie also has an upcoming 10 arena shows in Australia in the same cities and venues a few months before and Australians will definitely prefer to spend their money on her. After the fiasco of J-Lo's tour, her team should've known better to bother putting this on. I guess it's the only way they can recoup lost costs but it's so much better to just quietly cancel a tour behind the scenes as opposed to announce it and then later have to cancel multiple dates or the whole thing.

In Adelaide we have an extreme lack of international acts visit, the initial show was added due to demand and subsequent shows were added because the ones before it sold out almost immediately (in an hour). There’s definitely demand here, and the capacity of the stadium isn’t equal the what’s in other states, the available seats for the 4 shows combined don’t even meet the overall seats for the Syd or Melb shows. 

I definitely give her kudos for doing shows here when most international acts ignore us completely.

Pretty certain Katy's aussie dates are near entirely sold out.
