Katy Perry - The Lifetimes Tour

Realistically she could pull off a tour without designating an album.  That’s what will save her.  Realistically I could see something like this working…

OOTB: I Kissed a Girl, Hot n Cold, Thinking of You

Teenage Dream: Firework, California Gurls, Teenage Dream, Part of Me, E.T., Wide Awake (Prismatic Tour version)

Prism: Roar, Dark Horse

Witness: Chained to the Rhythm, Swish Swish

Smile: Never Really Over, Daisies

143: (Add like 4 songs, Lifetimes and three others…I couldn’t tell you which ones)

Then throw in some fan favorites; I could see Walking on Air, Unconditionally, The One That Got Away, Roulette, Not the End of the World, or Legendary Lovers.

She also needs a legitimate acoustic section again.  It was missing from Play and Rock in Rio.

Interesting how the name doesn't reveal if it's a 143 specific tour. But omg, 143 is also such a horrible name for an album, so I understand they want to move on from that asap.

I'm really curious to see how this tour will sell. Is Katy's catalogue strong enough to attract people to see her live (again)? Because apart from the horrible reviews, I think most people who follow music sort of passively aren't even aware she has a new album out. Blissful ignorance is what they call that.

She just needs to stay away from Stadiums

Im sure if she sticks to smaller to medium sized areanas in bigger cities she should still be able to sell 5000 to 10,000 tickets a show

Like shes a has been as far as A-list celeb status goes, thats over. But she isnt an under ground artist either. Im sure some ppl will go but arena sizes and ticket prices need to be realistic to match her reduced popularity

For her sake I hope she can still get the crowds she is expecting. Otherwise rename it to The Lifeless Tour

She should look at what happened to J-Lo's tour and Janet Jackson's Rockwitchu tour and learn the lessons.

Right, it’s bcos everyone is living for 143 here in down under..

Sydney loves her, matter in fact she’ll be playing our AFL grand final lmao

Sorry.. who exactly is living for 143 here in Australia? Also.. Meatloaf recently did the AFL grand final, it's not the most prestigious gig..

the GP - Morning and Talk Shows are praising it, radio shows are playing her songs.. maybe their kissing her a** because she's here

But in the cultural sense, I just speak in future tense

Her being on the trash morning shows doesn't really mean much apart from her PR team are doing their job

If she promotes this tour like an ‘eras’ tour she can definitely sell out stadiums tbh albeit very limited

I don't think so. She wasn't even selling out tours 100% when she was at her peak doing arenas. Her tours have done well, but never stadium level. Not even California Dreams and Prism's tours sold out every date. I really don't think she could've done it even then. And I don't think she or her team did either or else they would've tried it.

tbh it started kinda well but once the show was revealed, there was a big decline in the engagement, nobody wants to see a big toilet lol

The thing about PLAY is, aside from the toilet with the poop, it's a cool show. The use of oversized stage props, the backing screen, and forced perspective to have literally be able to play the role of a toy in various thematic set locations was neat. She just had to go and go overboard with her attempts at camp on parts of it that overshadowed the rest of a well done show, just like always.

I’m surprised cause I thought during her prime era TD/Prism I always thought she could’ve easily sell out stadiums tbh

It’s payola. She is featured on Apple Music and her album always comes up first for me. It’s #5 in album streams on the platform and just earlier today it was #4 while can’t see any singles in the top 100. Australia always loved Perry though and for some reason the Gays did so more than the likes of Gaga who is an actual Ally and role model.

AM isn't as big as Spotify so new album usually doesn't need much streams to reach top 10. even Normani's album reached top 10 on US Apple Music with 0 songs in the top 200.
