honestly if people are mad that Gaga does jazz or whatever else, go stan your usual Kim Petras Katy Perry Charli XCX with whom you'll always get the same album re-released and rebranded

leave Gaga for those of us who understand music and respect and admire her for bringing a new light to songs that deserved to be propelled through generations, and putting her own spice onto them.

Jazz is christmas-y

Its not that hard

Christmas can be jazzy, but I wouldn't say that jazz is Christmas-y

I’m not too into Jazz so i can’t see myself replaying most of these songs, but her renditions are amazing. Her best vocal work probably? I wish she had taken more songs in the direction of The Joker, which imo is by far the best and most unpredictable on the album. Happy Mistakes is obviously gorgeous too as is FAD. And OWTS is sooooo good too omg.

If you've been a fan of Gaga since "The Fame," it shouldn't be so difficult at this point to understand that she loves Jazz and it will remain a part of her DNA and musical journey for the rest of her career. If you can't grasp that reality, then seek a therapist and ask them why you have such strong delusional tendencies.

Whether you like it or not, Jazz and Gaga are inseparable. This is what she loves and where she found and continues to find herself. Continuing with your "disappointment" is not going to change her mind; it will only hurt her since you can't seem to be satisfied with anything she does.

If you have such strong artistic opinions about how Gaga should run her career, my advice to you is that you should become an artist yourself and make the artistic choices you believe she should be making. Otherwise, find yourself a new fave and stop beating a dead horse.

Gaga is a musician, a very credible one- and a lot of us diehard fans are credible musicians as well. THE FACT THAT SOME OF YOU CANT TAKE CRITIQUE OR OPINIONS THAT DIFFER FROM YOUR’s is the real delusion. This is a forum for discussion and discourse. Not everyone has to have the same opinion or dialogue. Why get so aggregated when someone doesn’t agree with you on a FORUM?!

It’s a jazz standard album. Another Jazz standard album. A lot of us wish she branched away from that, after having two Jazz standard albums already. Thats it. We don’t hate her. We don’t deny her talent. We don’t deny her credibility. It’s our opinion.

The majority of the album isn't even Jazz. Chill out Little Managers. Stop with the expectations.

It is predominately Jazz. With dashes showtune, Americana, gospel elements.

Anyway, the world is a stage.
The stage is a world of entertainment.

Close To You is absolutely adorable. I know she didn’t write it, but she really makes it her own.
