LastNight 5,941 Posted September 26, 2024 Share Posted September 26, 2024 Happy Mistake is so incredibly beautiful. It’s such a joy to hear the softer side of her voice. I know she loves to belt, but my goodness she has such a pretty voice when she pulls back - lowkey wish the whole song was that way… although her voice does sound insane when she kicks off. She’s phenomenal on That’s Life, and I love Gonna Build A Mountain. I didn’t realise Close To You was going to be that song, but I’m so happy to hear her sing it. Overall, the album isn’t really my thing but there are some real standout moments and it’s so exciting to see her take this big swing. Feels bold and you can tell she’s so passionate about it.
