Mister G 10,025
Katy...your last two eras sank quicker than The Titanic. Please read the room before you comment on anyone else, male, female or gender non-binary. I am so sick of her and glad I dumped supporting her years ago. 2

Foxyy 307
2 hours ago, RudraCNG said: I mean, she's right but at the end of the day fans/public are to blame. Nowadays, if a woman doesn't perform in high heels, changes her clothes 6 times during a single concert and doesn't do full choreos, nobody is interested on her, but males like Ed Sheeran can get away with their bland shows bc their basic fans won't ask for more. Is this true though? Artists like Adele and Billie usually have no clothes changes, simple stages, they just sing their songs and it's well received. And many men put on showstopping visual spectacles with elaborate pieces and choreography. It's not about being a man or a woman, it's about the crowd they've drawn in and what their fans expect. Katy hit her peak with flashy and explosive music and shows. Of course that's expected of her. Just like Lady Gaga got big doing dark dance pop and now her fans demand that for every album. Ed has always been the relaxed man with a guitar. That's what's expected of him. It's not because "he's a man so he gets away with being boring". It's because that's just the kind of artist he is. Katy refuses to evolve and only rehashes what USED to work in ways that no longer work. And she's working with a rapist to boot. You guys are throwing misogyny in where it's not really applicable.
Shyane 1,553
She may have a point but Katy, your problem is not that you're a woman. Taylor Swift, Adele, and Billie Eilish are all females who are very successful, if not more so than Ed Sheeren. You have a different problem. Babel 41,210
This argument is invalid when Adele exists. No one is forcing her to do the most, she chooses to. It is no ones fault that even doing all that the public is not here for her.

Katy made a choice long ago to be over-the-top... I don't think she's seriously complaining about it, either, just having a moment.
