Listened to the album on a site ryming with Parallelogram...

Would love to know the thought process of the single choices tho... if she wanted to go classic Katy then Wonder is right there, its firework mixed with roar, if they wanted to go full on dance party Nirvana or Crush and then if she wanted that Dark Horse type hit Artifical! 

It's just very bland, doesn't have much substance to it, like its all just "I'm his bitch baby oh I'm gorgeous! let's go out! I have such a crush! don't be messing with my love and don't be fake baby" and nothing else

there was no saving this era from the start, she was already on the fence with whether or not this would be a comeback for her despite having quite a bit of hype beforehand, she gave people an excuse and a reason to actually not listen to her whereas they didn't really have one before. im still so disappointed in her, you can really tell she completely sold out just to try and have another hit era.

Honestly not a BAD ALBUM to listen to, I'd have fun if it were played at a party. It's just very generic and bland. Not that Katy's other albums have been masterpieces but feels more like Katy went through Dr. Luke's instrumentals for Kim Petras, Ava Max and newcomers and decided what she liked and they went from there with some very basic lyrics created with AI, nostalgic samples and rip offs and decided she wants her reheated Chromatica.

After listening to the album, having a song like ‘Wonder’ come up right at the end, out of what feels like nowhere, actually feels jarring and sad, because it’s so lovely, and the spark that song has is so, so lacking everywhere else here I feel.

I didn't want to sound mean and say something positive about it but she doesn't help. Woman's World is absolutely the worst lead single they could've come up with. That song should have never made the final cut.

Nirvana and Wonder sound alike but would've worked better (Eurovision ish rip off), Artificial seems like a Dark Horse type of song, Crush and I'm His with the nostalgic 90s samples, Gorgeous is Unholy 2.0, Truth is Plastic Doll, Lifetimes as a dull Free Woman.

Honestly, its one of the worst albums i’ve heard in a long time - and in not a Katy hater( besides the fact she chose to work with an abuser and a scumbag) - but besides that it sounds super dated - i’m from Poland and I can already see which crowd it could possibly attract and those people watch Love Island like there’s no tommorow, smell like paco rabbane 1million and consider Philipp Plein a stylish brand
