There’s been a new Katy Perry thread on here on an almost daily basis for weeks. Some People here are obsessed with her. (which of course is their prerogative. This music is so outdated and has no soul. I’m not even trying to jump on the hate train because I was so excited for this comeback before finding out about Luke’s involvement. Smile had more substance than this. You can tell Katy’s heart wasn’t fully in this project, or she doesn’t have a great ear for melodies and production anymore idk. Edit - All The Love is sweet. Maybe if it was the same music but not produced by Dr. Luke, the reception would be a bit different. However, with such basic lyrics not even a different producer would save this album from flopping it just shows how Katy refuses to evolve musically.
