Out at midnight local time

143 is a bold return to form for the multifaceted Katy Perry. Jam-packed with the kind of empowering and provocative pop anthems fans have come to love, 143 is an album with a lot of heart – and a lot of BPM.

I set out to create a bold, exuberant, celebratory dance-pop album with the symbolic 143 numerical expression of love as a throughline message explains Katy.

Love the art direction she and her team took this time around. Lifetimes was a cute single, the rest didn’t impress me all that much, but I’ll for sure give it a listen tomorrow. All her records have solid, good songs. Never necessarily artistically challenging, but totally fine. Let’s seeee :volantis:

Boooooo! Don't support alleged rapists! Directly or indirectly! Can't believe people give this monstrous person any attention at all. Let it FLOP; it's DESERVED!

Edit:

(couldn't add spoiler from mobile)

I heard all new tracks twice and I wouldn't be listening to anyone of them ever. I liked 4/5 songs deep cut songs each on Prism & Smile so had to check it.

Its generic garbage and has suffered from same monotonous voice and overproduction. Sounds like it's played from random YouTube mix.

The last track wonder (Luke didn't touch this one right?) is the only good (still okaish) song and what the album should have sounded like. Some parts of All the love is listenable though

It’s a shame she wasted those visuals with this messy era

If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating.

agree to this but I wanna listen just once, it's not as fun to drag the album without listening to it 😂🤣
