Jase 13,407
Off to the cinema to watch Last Rites this afternoon, gays. Hyped! Re-watched the first Conjuring the other night and I forgot what a damn masterpiece it was. I wasn't too keen on the second and the less said about the third the better.

It's so far removed from what made the first one so incredibly effective that it's actually quite sad. 1

I still haven't watched the previous Conjuring movie I didn’t hate it (story wise) and honestly thought it was very typical Hollywood film. Would I watch it again? Probably, though some parts are too laughable imo 1 hour ago, Jase said: God it was awful. It's so far removed from what made the first one so incredibly effective that it's actually quite sad. Yeah… You’d think they would go back to what made the original creepy but they overused the CGI imo… Nothing amazing imo! I would still watch it but maybe wait until the hype dies down unless you have a membership (like I do) TMBT 3.22.11 // TBTWB 1.17.13 // ArtRAVE 6.3.14 // C2CT 5.28.15 // TJWT 8.13.17 // CWT 9.8.22 // TMB 7.22.25 & 7.24.25

There are some super dark scenes there and my only critique is that the use of CGI isn't really that great. I didn't really like the monster in Episode 1 but Episode 2 had some good scenes, so I am kind of interested in seeing how the season develops. I know I am asking a lot considering the state of TV shows these days, but I really wish they wrap up and deliver a great season and not end on a cliffhanger in which case we would wait 2+ years for a 2nd season which.....isn't ideal.... I honestly was really gagged at the first 2 offerings I've kept myself entirely in the dark about the show, so I am very pleased with where it's going thus far www.instagram.com/theduella666

Also one of the segments in VHS Halloween left me feeling some type of way Here is the list of movies I saw in October (I gave up on doing 1 movie per day after a while so there are definitely not 31 movies , but I had a good time nonetheless ) Spoiler 1. Ginger Snaps 2. Tetsuo: The Iron Man 3. Incantation 4. The Exorcist III 5. Event Horizon 6. 28 Days Later 7. 28 Weeks Later 8. 28 Years Later 9. Possessor 10. Wishmaster 11. Misery 12. Wishmaster 2 13. Wishmaster 3 14. Wishmaster 4 15. The Amityville Horror (1979) 16. The Amityville Horror (2005) 17. Open Water 18. The Hills Have Eyes (1977) 19. Nocturnal Animals 20. The Hills Have Eyes Part 2 21. The Hills Have Eyes (2006) 22. The Haunting of Hill House (this is where I gave up on the 1 movie per day because I wanted to watch this show) 23. The Black Phone 24. Annihilation 25. Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island (don't judge me, I love this movie for some reason, and it takes me back to my childhood) 26. The Hills Have Eyes 2 (2007) I actually did see The Hills Have Eyes for the first time during this marathon! Which one did you prefer? The 2000s remake or the original? I honestly have no idea, both of them are kind of good but I definitely didn't expect them to be so dark and graphic. I have seen Silent Hill a while ago so I might rewatch that soon, and I have never seen Trick R Treat so I will add that to my watchlist! The REC franchise is REALLY GOOD. The original is probably one of my favorite zombie movies of all time! The sequels can get a bit wild but I still find them entertaining. Until then, this is Elvira saying unpleasant dreams.
