I'm happy Gaga didn't promote it and ask for votes, I think she should stay away from this tomfoolery for good tbh.

It was fun while it lasted, but Mtv and the VMA's especially don't mean **** anymore. Sure Gaga's final run with the tricon award or whatever was also bought, but at least there was still integrity involved. By now it's just laughable.

Somehow she won over Madonna's performance that put MTV on the map and made her a legend.

Somehow she won over the Madonna-Britney kiss that created a media frenzy.

Somehow she won over Gaga's Paparazzi performance which arguably was one of the most shocking and iconic performances in MTV history and cemented Gaga is a trailblazer and industry revolutionizer.
