Rolling effect is essentially the same for radio or Spotify... "rolling" just means the scope of dates that are being counted is moving. For radio, they count the last 7-days. For Spotify monthly listeners, it's the last 28-days. So every day, the number farthest from the current date falls off and is replaced.

And since songs usually debut with high numbers because of initial buzz and/or radio deals, whenever that big debut number falls off the cumulative total and is replaced by a smaller figure on the 8th day for radio / 29th day for Spotify, this usually results in an expected negative update.

For a song to avoid a negative bullet, then it just has to at least do the same or better than what it 8 days ago (radio) / 29 days ago (Spotify).

Everyone should share DWAS links on all our socials and give it that push it needs.

Back in the days we had heavy spam campaigns :lmao:

So actually, since the monthly listeners count is based on the last 28-days, then DWAS has already survived the "rolling effect" from its debut.

I agree with what you said but from my understanding, radio will also decrease playing your music to make room for new songs. That part is very different from spotify.
