I see. I personally don't see them aligning themselves directly against Playstation, though I could definitely be wrong. Nintendo has its own thing going, and I really see it pushing it's technology to market better performance on Pokemon and Zelda games as well as use it as a crutch to keep development times shorter as less time will be needed for optimization. Outside of COD, I don't see them trying to position themselves with Xbox and Playstation, because Nintendo has never really wanted to be compared to them. They know they do best doing their own thing.

I believe you misunderstood me

Nintendo is just happy because marketing wise the ps5 pro is not threat to what they have in store for customers

And while they don’t align exactly they are now more than ever in competition for third party games 

but it will really depend on deva and how they use NS2 Upscaling tech
