I think she means that H&M is fast-fashion type of brand which focuses on spending money for low quality stuff that is gonna go to garbage instantly and create a waste. She stays with consumer, she wants quality and good ethics.

Exactly. Fast fashion is a huge problem, both in terms of the environmental impact and labor conditions.

Oh, she is so right about this. I've been exclusively thrift shopping for about three years now, and well... I have no choice but to stan. Good for her for turning down hyperconsumerism brands.

The Fame Monster

I totally agree with her. I really can't stand H&M or any other fast-fashion brands. I've tried giving them a chance, but every time it's the same story—poorly made, low-quality clothes with terrible designs, patterns, and random logos. It just feels like such a waste of resources. Honestly, it's hard to believe we live in a world where we can't even get something as basic as clothing right.

I really really love her ethics. I just hope she doesn't change.

I love it too but I’m afraid the big brands and names on this industry will start turning their backs on her, she’s still a new artist, she would benefit from being more subtle when addressing some issues

mte i love that about her. but i do think once you make statements like this as an artist everyone keeps their eye on you to see if you’ll slip up, or we see these artists embrace the capitalistic side of the industry for monetary gain; almost every artist that starts off as ‘against the machine’ succumbs eventually.  everyone seems to have a price.

It’s nice to see an artist put her money where her mouth is for a change, in a world of Taylor’s be a Chappell.
