Madonna might be the most important performance, but the category is about "The most iconic", if you show both performances to a random person they'll remember the Gaga performance more 99% of the time I feel like.

 

What other performance you can hear the audience literally GASP

For me it’s showing Private Video and can’t watch it  Might it be related to the country blocks or something?

I watched it last night but it's now displayed as private on GGD and on YouTube, it is there, but says that it was uploaded one hour ago. Maybe it got re-uploaded. Anyway, this was such a great trip down memory lane. It's so obvious throughout that her right breast is slowly turning redder through the fabric but at the time, no one seemed to notice. The way she threw that blood on the audience!  It's hard to imagine such a performance ever being done at this awards again. Who knows if it would even be allowed? It doesn't matter if she doesn't win the award on Wednesday, to just have it played in the nominations for anyone who wasn't aware will be a win.

Can you watch it on YouTube? I could see it last night and I still can but it says it was uploaded an hour ago now and it's weirdly privatised on GGD. I'm in the UK, so maybe it had to be re-uploaded for international viewers or something? It does exist on YouTube for sure.
