I have loved him since 2014 but idk why Dawn FM seemed to come out too fast for me, like After Hours was so monumental it could have stood on its own for a few years. And Dawn FM was a step down for me sorry. :franminervini:

Then he had music come out with The Idol which was itself this embarrassing fiasco and I've just become kind of bored with his whole schtick. :selena:

And now... I still feel like it's too soon. I feel like he's too eager to release music and he needs to let people miss him more.

Agree! I like listening to him but I’m not a super fan so I’m kind of overwhelmed by his output. I end up listening to two or three songs per album rather than digging into the whole project. Similar way I felt about cowboy carter

I have to agree with some other folks here. For me, After Hours was MAJOR. Such a well-conceived and executed album from end-to-end. Dawn FM didn’t truly land with me, especially riding so closely on After Hours’ coattails. Hopefully this one is better.

What days are safe in October?

the only artist we currently know is confirm releasing something in october that’s high profile (kinda) is halsey. she’s releasing on the 25th Oct. Taylor Swift allegedly with Rep TV around october as well and The Weeknd supposedly releasing album this friday. nothing is confirmed yet for the latter two.

I feel the same, as much as I really liked some tracks on Dawn FM it didn’t feel like a step up and was too dark/moody for me.

You loved After Hours but Dawn FM was too moody? That makes no sense because tracks like Alone Again, Escape from La, Faith and Until I Bleed Out are much darker and more moody than anything on Dawn FM

Hey, I'm king of the world, you ought to hear my song, you come on measure me, I'm twenty inches long

The visuals for Dawn FM were too dark for me. I loved his music videos in After Hours and some of the songs were iconic for me. Darn FM was too monotonous for me, I don’t know how to explain it. It was also during the pandemic where my music moods, or mood in general, was different.
