Since you apparently did not know:

Days before rodeo is his second or third mixtape. It has been out more than 10 years already for free. I'm a big fan of his from before he got an album out. DAYS BEFORE is the name because it was "days" before his first album Rodeo was released. But some fans look at DBR as one of his best music (I believe so too). Basically I'm guessing many fans finally give back to him by finally being able to _buy_ the "album".
