Anyway, I'm excited for this. I liked the original. I don't think @RAMROD was trying to drag brat and he just simply thought brat was released later in the year. He specifically said "first half of the year." I know I thought BRAT was released both after XOXO and in the second half of the year, but both were released in June. Big fans of both albums and I think if you like one you are likely to enjoy the other if you actually give it a chance.

So glad to hear that she's expanding it. The original version was far too short and came across rushed and I hoped this meant a deluxe was coming later. Great summer album that can now be extended into autumn. Maybe this might reinvigorate interest and give it its flowers. "Magic City" though? As it was a love letter to Miami, wouldn't "Club Miami version" or "24H Miami version" been better?

Most artists do this now, regardless of how it performs. Because most people stream albums instead of buy them, there's no need to worry about annoying those who bought the original only for it to be re-released a short while later. There's no need to "re-buy" again. Now it's done as a matter of course a few months later to extend interest in the album and a bonus for the fans. Personally, I prefer all the available tracks to be released on the same day so you can choose which version you want but then, I listen I'll listen to it all online eventually, so what's the issue?
