Taylor’s friendship to Trump supporter questioned

Do we have people on GagaDaily here who support Trump over Kamala? Genuinely curious. I would like to understand why they would betray us.

Apart from my direct family and coworkers I do not interact with Trump supporters lol I do not want to and I avoid it if I'm aware. 

If I was the #1 pop star in the world, I would be more careful about my association with people, but she is dating Travis and he doesn't seem like the bluest hair in the crowd in the first place. 

Just hope she endorses Kamala, soon. Would be very disappointing if she didn't because she has POWER!

It's not a "political difference", it's a total moral and intellectual failure. Being MAGA is a personality flaw and I don't find it acceptable to say "this person votes for my civil rights to be stripped away and the society I live in to get demonstrably worse but I'll be friends with them anyway".

I see your point but in some cases, certain types of Trump supporters are essentially being exploited. I’d have to look at it from their perspective before I make a big judgment call to cut them off like that. 

Especially those in rust belt whose communities have been affected by globalism and are left behind. Trump isn’t the answer to their problems, if not the opposite, but he is playing with their hopes and wishes. 

And ultimately, I genuinely believe there are some Trump supporters who will help you when in need as a friend. They just don’t share my priorities and views.

I’m sure they had the same types of conversations in Germany about family and friends who supported Hitler and the policies ushered in by Nazism in the early 30s.
