Besides even as fan you expecting to like every song on album is asking for too much, I generally say I love an album if I enjoy 75% of it. I showed some of my friends the snippets and they loved it and said they hope its real. People have different tastes at the end of the day. The more people LG7 appeals to, the better imo. But a clip of this lyrics of “I could be your girlfriend for the weekend” has been circulating since the Chromatica pre-era and that clip was out, if my memory serves me correctly, before we even had Stupid Love leaks. So I’m just feeling generally confused by this specific song and clip assumption. Has anyone brought this up already? Time flies like the wind.
