A fan named Samantha joins Macklemore on stage and gets arrested

Macklemore was just one of the many mainstage headliners at the Lovestream festival in Slovakia. Rita Ora, and Tiësto were also headlining.

During Macklemore’s performance on Sunday, he welcomed a 24-year-old bartender from Bratislava named Samantha to the stage. You can see footage of this moment, which happened during a performance of “Downtown,” right here:

After her onstage cameo, but before returning to the audience area, Samantha posted a photo on social media to commemorate the occasion.

An “observant citizen” saw the post and recognized Samantha from the Interior Ministry Wanted List — apparently there are observant citizens out there keeping an eye on that sort of thing? — and tipped off the authorities to her presence.

According to Slovakian outlet PLUS 7 DNI, the woman was arrested over an incident which occurred back in 2019. The woman allegedly interrupted a soccer match by running shirtless onto the field.

She was charged with disorderly conduct and spent a weekend in pretrial detention center, according to the outlet. However, she allegedly did not pay the fine of 800 euros she was charged with, which prompted her to become a wanted person.

Law enforcement have reportedly been searching for the woman since June.
