Nope, you're not. That sort of was one of the reasons I stopped being a fan years ago haha. I don't like it when artists are so workaholic because I can't digest their releases properly

I'm thinking "Tough" is going to be like "Mariner's Apartment Complex" where it's the first single released and will appear on the album but comes so far in advance it won't really be marketed as the "lead" even though it's on the album.

Bit disappointed for her to suggest it isn't coming out this year after all but she has so many albums, it's hardly that big of a deal, I don't listen to her stuff enough as it is. I really want Tough to end up on the album, it's a really solid lead and did well on the charts for her standards. I'm craving a truly amazing album right now, I really hope she delivers whenever that will be. Maybe it's best to give the Grammys a skip every other year so she's not going to overwhelm them with an already competitive year.

I think the confusion comes from the fact that it doesn't sound how the album has been described

Isn't she walking back the country label though and saying it's Americana how all her music is? It seems like that was maybe hyperbole to call it a country album.
