StrawberryBlond 14,253
This kind of language that demonises men and associates them with violence and apathy is precisely why men (and some women) are distrustful of modern feminism and doubts its intentions. An anti man rhetoric is just as sexist as misogyny. You can call out the toxic attitudes of some men and how their thought patterns have permeated society and have made women's AND men's lives worse. Sexism is two sides of the same coin after all and sexism endured by women will have a knock-on affect for men as well. But to just demonise men...but weirdly act like you're on their side...but still totally on women's side is the new, evolved form of pick me-ism and the sad fact is that so many women don't realise this yet. Feminism needs a do-over, let's go back to "women deserve to have the same level of rights and respect as men so we can live together harmoniously as the wonderful species we are, as nature intended." 1
