Unfortunately, the new Dr. Luke-produced song from Katy Perry has left the entirety of the USA iTunes Top 200 chart. Lifetimes recently gained publicity from the investigation controversy.

USA iTunes as of 08/17 9:00pm ET
#1. You know
#160. Always Remember Us This Way

- Top 200 -

OUT. Lifetimes

Will the song from the Kids' Choice Award Winner debut on Billboard Hot 100?

After careful investigation, I am unable to find any Billboard Hot 100 predictions for Lifetimes. I wonder why.

So far this decade, the Kids' Choice Award Winner has scored 3 Hot 100 entries:

#40 Daisies, 7 wks
#90 When I'm Gone, 4 wks
#63 Woman's World (prod. Dr. Luke), 1 wk

I am so excited for her next Top 80-99 (hopefully) entry Lifetimes, OMG go Queen Katy Perry.

The way it’s my third most listened to song of the year on Spotify, sorry not sorry. It’s a bop :lolly:

This is actually really sad.  She’s about to enter her mental hospital era.

I would feel bad, but it’s a Dr. Luke song. She could have worked with anyone, she’s Katy Perry after all.

what’s the investigation controversy

"Katy Perry under investigation over Lifetimes video shoot" - u may google that for articles.

Also, Spanish TV displayed the words "possible environmental crime" while broadcasting the said incident.

I just can't believe her, her team, and her label let the project progress as far as it did without clocking the potential blowback the Dr. Luke issue was going to cause. It's a massive miscalculation on so many levels.

Plus, the tracks themselves are nothing to write home about. For the amount of collaborators they had, the songs feel like they are in early songwriting / development phase.
