I really don’t see another single releasing until around album release. Disease really needs a traditional(2009-2014 era) televised Lady Gaga performance with interesting fashion, wardrobe changes, theatrics, strong vocals, and interesting premise/set piece. The live versions are cute but more is needed. Die With A Smile did well with Gaga and Bruno performing it in Vegas a few times with the performances going viral on social media. Every place Bruno toured DWAS would sky rocket up the charts. Happy Mistake also did well after the late night show performance. Disease has been holding pretty steady in radio and streaming, it just needs a moment to explode. Also disappointed but not surprised her team didn’t try pushing it to Alternative radio. Interscope sends Billie Eilish songs to Alternative and gets airplay. Disease(and Happy Mistake) could’ve gotten some airplay and different audience exposure from that. 
 

I’m guessing February will begin her LG7 promo cycle with Grammy’s and hopefully Super Bowl commercial on top of television/radio/podcast show appearances and performances. I’d imagine Disease, DWAS and 3rd single around album release to be songs performed during the promo cycle lasting weeks prior and after album release.

Not really. For that one week HISS was inescapable. Nicki was crashing out. The internet was on fire. It very much deserved that #1 spot. It didn’t have legs because it was pure gimmick.
