These surveys ask random participants a few basic questions about certain songs. These questions include: "Are you familiar with the song?," "Do you feel positively or negatively about the song?," "Would you say this is one of your favorite songs?," and "Are you tired of hearing this song?," among general questions about a person's age, gender, location, and the type of stations they tend to listen to and when they listen to them. The Potential score consits of Net Positive (Overall reaction to the song: Positive - Negative), if the song is his/her favorite or if the person is tired to death of this song being played and yes, all points are % (from a total of around 1100 participants). It's a formula which considers previous factors. Basically, the potential gives you a picture of what's the near future of the song on the Airplay chart. Pop Score is the same potential score but multiplied by the fammiliarity, which shows you, in theory, more about the current level of sucess of the song on the official ranking. Also, songs must be at least 60% familiar to qualify and appear on the chart which is released every Friday. 47 minutes ago, HIMe said: But the song is literally the most consumed song in the world right now the math aint mathing

I think 3 weeks might be possible since no really strong contender from last Friday, no? Unless Megan x RM absolutely killed it in sales. I’m so out of date that I had to google who is Megan x RM I think that a potential contender would be The Weeknd. But at least his numbers won’t count for the 3rd week.

Is troy carter managing the radios in US in some sort of way cause at this point I'm really starting to wonder. Pop radio embraced “Bloody Mary” more than it’s embracing “Die with a Smile”. How is it week 3 for the most daily streamed song on Spotify and it hasn’t even entered the Top 20…and only moved one spot in a week… Adult Contemporary radio and Adult Pop radio are carrying. Exactly what happened with “Shallow”. In some ways I understand Interscope too, like why waste so much money on heavy payola when the radios doesn't even like you that much? yeah say goodbye to radio when LG7 Lead drops lmao pathetic af luna’s advocate 2 2

I just hope and wished the radio wouldn’t weigh AS MUCH as it is on the Hot 100 in this current day and age. A lot of people have been calling this out since the streaming era and yet they didn’t change the system. US radio is run by a bunch of freaks. No wonder a lot of Hot 100 #1 debut is carried by mass streamings and mass digital downloads nowadays. Just stupid. luna’s advocate

Levine 22,366
And I hope Interscope isn't moving because they want a radio deal with the lead single and not for both songs. Because if the same happens with lg7 lead single I'm going to make a mess.

Luna Lovegood 22,417
DWAS on #40 while other new songs like Taste debuting straight in top 15 on callouts.. let me remind you guys again that DWAS is #1 on AM US and #2 on Spotify US. If that’s not FRADULENT idk what else is. It’s time to abolish the US radio. and trust me radio CLEARLY have a hate boner towards Gaga because Bruno’s last song ‘LTDO’ was a radio smash (albeit it’s a lead single with radio deal) and it’s literally has the same essence as DWAS. After this callout I’m done tracking US radio lmao just useless and stupid Edited September 10 by Luna Lovegood luna’s advocate 1
