Also it is worth mentioning, from the update yesterday, we are now challenging Ariana on the peak monthly listeners on Spotify.

Gaga #6 at 99,101,651

Ariana #5 at 99,648,377

about 650k difference. Honestly, never in my wild imagination would I ever think this is possible...

I’m so happy for her, this is exciting

I’ve read comments that this could be like Alice looking glass for Gaga’s acting career. The sequel to the billion dollar grossing Alice movie that bombed and was critically panned so bad the lead actress left Hollywood and quit acting. I really hope not and I hope fans still go out and watch it.

I haven't been afraid Gaga lately, she seems to have a much easier time with things. She knows for a long time what the movie turned out, yet she is cheerful in interviews. She even made an album, even though she obviously knows it won't be a fan hit.

She probably decided that she did everything and success is not up to her. Or she is such a good place mentally and in her personal life that these things don't matter. Or she is so sure the success of her next projects that a probably mediocre era is not a problem for her.

Sometimes I don't know why we worry about everything when she doesn't seem to worry.

They changed the featured track from the OST to "To Love Somebody"! A better choice.

In Hungary it is 11th on the NFM. How ended in SEA countries and the USA? (Not that it matters as much as we saw from the HM case.)

The streams is still around peak so there's no problem there, but nobody knows if there will be an actual push this week because no sign of discounts, versions, or new performance videos yet. Maybe they're also letting JFAD have its moment first.

Currently in her store, the estimated delivery for the vinyl has been updated to Oct 25. I don't know if that applies to all purchased vinyls so far or just new orders. My order hasn't shipped yet, though.

This account says it's a restock, so they could have sold out the initial volume.

Who decides whats quality anyway. Ppl always speak of it like something is factually quality or not but i find it way more subjective than ppl make it out to be.

I agree with you, art perception is subjective. People consume it looking for themselves and every judgment will depend on the person’s life experiences and how they understand the world. Art is a way to connect with ourselves through the creative work of someone else.

A song that can evoke my emotions can also sound insufferable to you. There’s no right or wrong in this situation. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

However, when it comes to music quality, there are more objective elements we can pay attention to. Songwriting and composition are qualities that make timeless songs. You can hate the sound of Yesterday by The Beatles, but you can’t say its lyrics are rubbish. It’s an engaging and relatable song. Do you understand what I mean? Also, you can tell the quality by its production and engineering. There are elements such as instrument blending, clarity, balance and punch that need to sit well in the mixing.

Harlequin had a polished production and I don’t need to mention the quality of the Great American Songbook nor Gaga’s vocals.

When it comes to HM and FAD, you can notice the lyrics come from a place of honesty which resonates with listeners. That’s the quality I’m talking about. Not everyone will enjoy Harlequin because of its sound, but it can’t be considered a poorly done album. But this is just my opinion and my way to perceive music.

The main actress from Alicia has donde 9 movies (and a bit of TV) after Alice through the looking glass. She has a movie in post production that will released Next year I guess. She didn't retire or leave Hollywood.

She even has co-directed two movies. We need to stop being so dramatic.

Ok, but I still don't think we can exclude october 11 for the lead just because of that album.

I do think the lead is coming on the 18th tho, but only because the 11th is still too close to joker and harlequin.

Seeing how the songs above it are doing, I'm thinking it would be best if they postpone the shipping of the vinyls either 1 or 2 weeks. To allow radio (its biggest hindrance) to keep growing, and then do the discounts, versions etc. But Shaboozey + The upcoming Christmas freeze make me fear the highest the song will go is No. 2 :/

DWAS was due to be at #3 in the UK based on the predictions so it must’ve missed out by very little :messga:

If it was #3 today the chart run would be 7-6-5-4-3.
